Ideal pdf

A knee injury to Chelsea defender Thiago Silva is reportedly expected to keep him out of play for six weeks, dealing Graham Potter yet another setback.

The Brazilian defender was forced off during Chelsea’s 2-0 loss at the hands of Tottenham on Sunday. The 38-year-old has undergone scans on his knee, and the club fears he will be out until April with medial cruciate ligament damage.

Recall that the 38 year old was substituted off for Wesley Fofana in the 19th minute of the encounter.

According to Sky Sports.com, Silva underwent examinations on the injury which revealed the extent of the damage to the knee.

Silva looks set to miss a crucial UEFA Champions League round of 16 second leg tie with Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday March 7 at Stamford Bridge as well as key Premier League matches.

Silva has notched two assists in 20 Premier League games this season.

Chelsea have garnered 31 points from 24 Premier League games and they are 10th in the division.
